Glad to see you've got somewhere to run your wonderfull collection of trains Tony. A nice long run
with well laid track if the high speed runs are anything to go by. Congratulations.
Grant.

Very nice. But this it the finish, or is it really just the start (he asked philosophically)?

Hi Rik,

Very nice. But this it the finish, or is it really just the start (he asked philosophically)?

Finished I think, possibly some changes to the track work when the weather gets warmer. Though being close to it I now have problems working at ground level for any length of time, so when design the garden railway it was designed so most of the work could be done either standing or sitting. The result is more of a portable layout rather than a garden railway as each board can be removed to work on or maintain. In a few weeks the circle of track outside the house along with the bridges over the path will be stored in the garage leaving only the test track outside the shed to be played with until the spring.

Regards Tony..

A bit of night running from Weds...

(Of course I should have thought to video the lovely Brandbright vertical boiler loco another member brought - with lighting in the cab, as well as a headlamp, plus a tail-lamp on the guard's van.)

Hi,

The railway now has a painted buffer stop which my wife painted in her workshop (kitchen).

Hi Robert,

What are you going to do now it's finished.

Building an entrance for the Modular Layout before my wife finds me something else to do!

Regards Tony.
