Raising Steam on the ASCR

Post by GAP » Sun Jan 15, 2023 12:18 am

As part of my traineeship to gain my steam loco drivers qualifications I am now lighting up the fire and waiting for steam to be raised on the steam locos on some operating days.

Good stuff, Graeme! Hope I live long enough to do the same at Woodford..
Nothing better than standing next to a gently warming engine on shed in the morning light, preferably with coffee in hand.
