A trip along the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway

Post by ge_rik » Mon Sep 27, 2021 5:55 pm

Thanks to the kindness of Zach, our former Forum Administrator (and now volunteer loco driver), I was given the opportunity to ride in the cab of one of the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway's wonderful Garratt locos. Bird spotters are in for a treat towards the end of the video.

Enjoy

It was fairly warm in the cab. Not much room to spread out

That was our conclusion. It swooped ahead of us on the way out (but I missed it with the camera), but I was prepared for it on the return and, sure enough, it did a repeat performance.
