Re: Happy Christmas & New Year 2018
Having just finished our Christmas dinner (cooked by my daughter), and imbided in a few glasses of something bubbly, preceded by something called Nigrino (a very new cocktail experience for me), I feel more than a little mellow,
With three generations around the table (97yo mother, 72yo brother and 37 yo daughter (+ 8yo cat of my daughter)), I cannot help but feel that the world is a very pleasant place.
I do hope your Christmas has been half as good as mine. Merry Christmas to one and all.
Rik
PS My best present was the latest book on the Southwold Railway (by Peter Paye). Brilliant!!

Hope your Christmas has been better than mine. I've been bed-ridden with man-flu for the last couple of days.

Re: Happy Christmas & New Year 2018
Sorry about the man-flu. I hope you soon feel better. I usually go down with it after Christmas usually as a reaction to the Christmas schedule of being up a weird times, eating rich food, taking services at strange times, and getting to bed at even odder times.
We actually had a very pleasant Christmas, but neither of us was 100% well.
Cheers,
Peter in Va

Traffic Pattern? What pattern? Spuds out; grain in, but cattle, sheep and passengers are a lot less predictable.

Sorry to hear man-flu has struck. I had it last year. I hope it doesn't spoil your festivities.Busted Bricks wrote: ↑Wed Dec 26, 2018 9:29 am Hope your Christmas has been better than mine. I've been bed-ridden with man-flu for the last couple of days.
My Narrow Planet name plates arrived on Christmas Eve. I'll attach them to my locomotive in the next few days and post some pictures when I get a chance. Santa didn't bring me anything else for my railway.
