I am not sure if this will be allowed.
I will be at our village Remembrance Day Service to remember the fallen soldiers from the village.
My thoughts will by with all that fell in the Great War of 1914-1918 and those that were killed in
WW2 and are still being killed today

Re: Remembrance Day 2018
Excellent post Rod, thanks for sharing it.
This years remembrance has been very WW1 orientated for obvious and appropriate reasons. People who have family who were affected by the Great War have a clear focus for their thoughts. Others who served in the forces will also have a focus on their regiments (or their fore runners). I don't fit into either group. My thoughts were with the Railwaymen caught up in the conflict, those who joined up and fought, those who worked the railways supporting the battle and those who were engulfed by the war in their home country. It seemed appropriate.
