That would be a bit of a challenge, didn't it shut because most of their bridges had been washed away?
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!

The affected bridges were between Port Shepstone and Izotsha. Apparently, the section between Plains and Paddock was being used as a (likely unofficial) tourist train; so track remains!
