Looks like he's making some good progress with her, theres a gent looking at building a new Gowrie and I've always been interested in doing a new build or two, so it can be done with a small team
Blokes with tea can build anything

After the Z7, my favorite Fowler. No small task to take on. Be good to see a mate for Atlas ( I presume it's still around over there! )

What I would give to turn back the clock and be an apprentice working for that company.

Old Hall have turned out some nice stuff.
This is the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway's Krauss pacific, to be named Whillan Beck. Although it was purchased nearly fully restored, all of the work to bring it up to the standards the railway requires has been done at Old Hall Farm by Alex and his team. Alex is driving it the photo, which was taken yesterday evening. The loco has done another 3 test runs today, and is down to enter service in mid March, with a naming ceremony on the Saturday of the first May bank holiday.
I have visited Old Hall myself a few times, the machine shop actually has a 16mm scale, 45mm gauge line running round it!
