Is this the start of somthing bad?!

Post by made-in-england » Mon Sep 22, 2008 8:28 pm

Right, If andy has pictures or anyone i would apreciate them as i have started building a fun set of wagons in 32mm. The first coach will have wallace,Gromit,Penguin and the wrong trousers on. (See pic) the next wagon will hold a painted toy tea cup and saucer and finally there will be a brake van BUT it will be made from a toy teapot painted.!

i got the idea from the wallace and gromit flatbed truck and teatly tea band wagons at amberely over the weekend! If anyone has any pics of anyting similar i would appreiate them but for now heres the figures!

Brilliant, im looking forward to this one. Just one thing, how long has Amberley had a tetley tea band, because as SLRmidge will tell you, a Tetley tea band has performed at Heversham station on the SLR for at least a couple of summers, and Ian thought that he should have the rights to them!!!!!

I have some pics, but there are stored away on pendrives becuase the laptop I use is away being fixed. By Tea band, they were little figures given away by Tetley tea a while ago when the Tetley ads featured animated characters. These figures that were given away each have a musical instrument. Put all of the figures them together and you have a tetley tea band

Heheh

You could do an "Anti-Pesto" box van, or maybe a Jacobs Cream cracker liveried van, and a refrigerated Wendsleydale cheese box van too!

Would look great, or even go the whole hog and paint up a mamod to look like the loco that features in the chase scenes in "The Wrong Trousers"

Ive started painting the tea pot in the Wallace and Gromit Characterristic green! Ive also re-thought the design and shall be putting the 4 figs on each corner of the tea-Pot wagon so as cutting costs. Also i have decided to scrap the idea of a cup wagon! carrying things too far i felt! Pics when the pots done!
