Depends really how much time I have spare. Designing takes a couple of weeks ( I like to do drawings to work from), then making is usually some months. In the case of the obs, i obtained a drawing from adrian gray and modified it. Its been under construction since about early november, but i'm not a speedy modeller and construction can happen rapidly for a few days and then slow down to nothing

It's interesting comparing notes on carriage building, and it seems yours are similar to mine.laalratty wrote:Depends really how much time I have spare. No.11 your No.9 is beautifel!
I know what you're talking about, with PVA glue they punch out so easy unless you sandwich the plastic between two droplights, alternatively you can use araldite and be careful so that you don't smear the araldite on the plastic.laalratty wrote:The windows are a real pain cos I havn't found any glue that dosn't discolour the window in some way

I dont mind getting epoxy on be pinkies but superglue I hate the stuff. It leaves white marks over everything as well.
