I spent many beer-tokens, at the Llanfair show, this past weekend..
I have many kits, and 'UFOs' (Un-Finished Objects) and posting here is supposed to give me a 'push' to get over the fear of failing, and complete something.
To me, the included instructions, seem a little light on detail?
I was wondering if anyone had a 32mm kit they could post a picture (1000 words) of the underside?
I have not committed to gluing anything yet, and think I have worked it out, but would rather ask than b*gg*R it up, at the first stages.
Many thanks,
Phil.P

Re: Line Side Hut - Flat wagon with tool box load
I see Line Side Hut have ceased trading?
So, do I actually build this?
Or,
Keep it for a couple of years, then list it as *RARE*, on that well-known auction site?

Wow,
Wasn't yours the flat wagon with tool box that was once owned by Elvis, Phil? ***VERY VERY VERY RARE***!!! Don't forget to charge at least £15 for postage...
Wow, that happened suddenly! I'm sure it's the right decision for them, and I wish them all the best, but on a selfish level I'm wishing I'd got round to buying a curvy roofed van a little sooner!

Re: Line Side Hut - Flat wagon with tool box load
That is seriously bad news about the company closure; I have built quite a few of their kits and they have been of excellent design and quality. They were also prepared to carry out 'special' requests to supply additional parts or even custom make to order. I am so glad to have several examples of their products and will miss them.
However, it is good to hear that it is not due to health reasons and that many years of retirement can now be enjoyed.

The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

A real shame to see them close, they produced some really nice kits. I have a couple of their Corris clerestory carriages in regular use.
