New timber wagon

Whilst having a browse (as you do), I spotted the Pershing wagon kits from Red Star Packet company on Facebook.

I thought they looked great kits to enhance my timber flows from Wood Yard to Junction and allow me to increase capacity ahead of the winter chill

Now the story is that after WW1, a number of Pershing wagons were repatriated to Kent and the wily management at the CHLR decided to acquire a wagon to help with the growing timber flows on the line.

The wagon was sent immediately upon arrival at the CHLR to the wagon works, where some minor shell damage was repaired and the wagon given an all over coat of Red Oxide, the go to colour for the wagons involved in the timber operation

All in all a great kit to put together with some nice detailing - all parts neatly lasered and easy to get out and bring together - recommend the kit for any line, especially if you have a WW1 theme but also like me, great if you want to create a bit of a story
Where did I put that uncoupler?

That looks nice for the price. A bargain.

I have built several of kits from this chap, they are great for the price and go together very well.
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!
