Indian Stock

I've had a rake of two coaches and two vans to run behind my Darj for some time.............

....... but I hadn't got a matching freight rake: until yesterday. I've got two IP Darj open wagon kits, a Fowl Van (or should that be Foul Van?) and a luggage trolley, and a Swift Sixteen bogie van, which got built today.

It's been an absolute DELIGHT to build: a fair bit of trimming along thr bottom edge of the one-piece body casting, but after that it was 5 holes, 5 screws and a few  dabs of glue, and there we were!

Tried it out today........................ First off, it's bloody heavy, second off, I've got to move the couplings down as they're far to high, which will be made slightly easier by third off - the loco snatched at the train and pulled one (superglued) coupling off the body! The bogie frames are also VERY low - makes it good as a ballast clearance plough!
