That has turned out very nicely, and it's origins make it an eye opener as to what can be done with a simple wind up loco mechanism.

I like the spoked wheels, adds more visual interest when in motion.

Thanks for all the kind comments, I'll get the final colour coats done and then try and put together some video of it running. Based on how the chassis ran it's going to be fast!

So it's taken a while, paint job isn't finished but I thought I'd try to put together a video of it running! Sorry about the jerkyness of the filming, first attempt and all that! I cut out a few bits and unfortunately the video editor has squished the image a little!

Very nice job that.
I did notice a clock work engine on the heritage stand and llanfair and thought of your project.
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!
