My only criticism is that you are too damning of your own creativity. These models are fantastic!

That was a long time ago, I was young and reckless.

interestingly, I know you mentioned the boiler isn't tapered. I believe the original GWR Badminton class and Aberdare class had straight boilers. In fact your engine has a resemblance to the original Aberdare class, but with a different tender and inside frames.

My only other criticism is that you've inspired me to want to make a J27 in a similar vein but I have no money and a thousand other modelling projects on the go.
