Changed my mind about soldering having found tiny brass and copper rivets from macc models and chronos..So I wonder now if anyone has had experience of drilling brass for these little things..I would like to use the thinnest material practical but what is the minimum thickness for centre punching and drilling and keeping a flat surface..
Thank you veru much

Re: soldering brass bodywork
Working on a project my old fibreglass / glassfibre / scratch pens finally ran out and so naturally bought some refills of eBay.

What a load of such and such they are though! These wear out fast, excrete lots of nasty pickles and also scratch the brass surface more noticeably. Regrettably I can't seem to work out what isn't more of the same online so wondering if anyone can point me to a recommended product/supplier.
Regards
Steve
Edit seems I've been mixing glass-fibre and nylon. Weird as I didn't think the latter came as standard with the pens I brought and I wasn't even aware of nylon brushes till the other day but I definitely prefer them over fibreglass, even if they do require slightly more elbow work. Got the trial alternative from Leosics incidentally and they've got 10% off till the end of December if anyone is after anything, very speedy delivery I must say
