I checked back to your earlier pictures Dave and can see the new lubricator is much smaller!

How did you come up with the new design especially after all this time?

It's got quite a volume Tom, about 5mL

I wanted a lubricator that worked, A lot of thought went into it, eventually opting for bottom feed
Best wishes,
Dave

I love the noise and running quality of that loco Dave, you should do more videos of it running

Do you have space for an onboard gas tank?

I love it's sound too Tom. Slow is the way to go!

Try this playlist, there's even an outtake

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 7f9fCC2iKO

There is just enough room for an onboard gas tank, it's an exciting proposition

Dave

Left hand side looks like you could fit a Roundhouse type gas tank?

Your live diesel is huge, I love it!

I will be emailing you Dave for the pdf plans. Have you updated them also.

I love the clatter, it sounds brilliant. You would think it was a Diesel.

Would it be able to run 32mm.

That's it Tom, that's what I'm thinking

Hi Rod, they aren't my plans but LBSC's from the 1930's which I used for the outline and the general layout - he used a gramophone worm and gear. The original was a 32mm gauge - standard gauge loco. Mine could be re-gauged to be 32mm

Dave

It’s so confusing Dave. On the forum it shows, Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:56 pm. I posted my reply to you at,Fri Nov 02, 2018 7:54 am…Only 1 hour difference mate…

You are 24 hours in front of us up here in the Northern Hemisphere aren’t you…?

Anyway back to your loco. Are you thinking of R/C Dave. It looks a bit tight under there. But I’am sure ge_rik could help with that. Or may be your quite capable yourself. :thumbright:

The front looks like your best bet but you might have to make your own tank unless an Accucraft one might fit?

Here's the original gas tank, a converted steam boiler. It could be put inside a tank wagon.

This afternoon I rearranged the gas valve to make it more compact. The dome on the top where the gas is drawn off
