A boiler for Ellie.

Hi,
Over Bank Holiday I finished and tested the boiler for an Ellie that I am making.

Hey Tony, what are the pipes at the bottom of the boiler for? Are they superheater pipes or such?

Hi George,
They are staple shaped heat exchanging rods made from 2 mm solid copper when straight these are often referred to as hedgehog pins. They increase the heating area of pot boilers and are well worth the effort in fitting.
