The Dreadnoughts set sail

Hi guys,
Dad has FINALLY finished with his two test articles. You would've seen bits of these hidden behind our other projects. These prototypes are based on the original Morgan Talyllyn style Garratt "Dreadnought", differing with completely redesigned lasercut bogies and gear mountings. These have been completely reconstructed following tests involving differing motors, boilers, gas tank locations and bogies. The lessons learnt from these models were integrated into the new "Baby" Garratts. They now feature Roundhouse boilers powering the SVS motor from Tony Green models.

Both of the Dreadnoughts are for sale. Unfortunately space is at a premium at the moment due to house sorting so these locomotives will need to move on to make room. Like the Baby Garratt, dad HOPES to make more Dreadnoughts in the future.
