OK, I'll get this out of the way first. I know it's rare for a full size narrow guage loco to have a brass dome / safety valve bonnet but I don't care. It's my loco, my railway and I like a bit of bling, so neh...
RH don't appear to make a brass bonnet for Katie so where did you guys who have one get it from? Or is it a case of giving the OE one a Nitromors bath?
Ta in advance.

Re: RH Katie - brass bonnet
If you ring them up they can send you an unpainted one or you could strip the paint off the one you have?
Re: RH Katie - brass bonnet
Never occured to me fo call them for an unpainted one as I assumed they'd all be allocated to kits or complete locos. Worth a try though, thanks.

At least with a polished one, you have the choice to change when you fancy it. Some full size engines have alternative domes such as Earl of Merioneth; the polished domes are used in the summer whilst the original painted ones are used during the winter
