I put a reservation on a lined grey one yesterday. They are aiming at december 2015 but more likely to be early 2016. The price they are aiming at is around £4000. I asked about the minimum radius they are aimingat and they reckon 2'6 as per their electric vesion.
Best wishes
Colin

I have just changed my mortgage company. Cashback is part of the deal. Do I place an order for a K1 and incur the severe displeasure of the wife?

Go for it Jim, if she throws you out you can always stay with Peter or me - for a short while!!

By the time it arrives in 2016, everything will be forgotten ..... so you´ll have to think of a new excuse :o

More chance of being handcuffed to a ghost.

Problem is the current Mrs Bigjim has started to take an interest in garden railways so is getting an idea of what stock I have.

The 'I have had it for years' excuse is not holding up like it used to. I also think she looks at this forum on occasion.

Hello Dear.

Had a letter confirming price at £3695 for manual and £3995 for r/c. Due summer 2016. They want a deposit of £995 then three payments one each quarter of £1000.
Cheers Colin

One of the O gauge guys at the Waveney Valley Club has a number of different locos that his wife has little knowledge of. All of them are housed in boxes that look exactly the same from the outside. This way when he takes a couple of them out they could appear like the same two he always takes.

Hopefully Accucraft has learnt it's lessons from the NGG16 and the K1 will work properly!
It also seems that the K1 has competition from Doncaster!
