I'm very interested as I love garratts anyway and I prefer the K1 to the South African versions. I fear the cost may be a bit scary though especially with radio control.

We may have to wait, but chances are that it will be worth it.

But we´re still waiting for the joint GRS / ANG GVT tram engine, so my guess is that it´s a project to start saving for now (in the hope that I can afford it when it´s ready). Would be a great addition to the K&NWLR, in any case.

If they do the WHR version, then the lamps won´t be part of the spec.

Check out the clue on the GRS company introduction web page of the 16mm Assoc. Peterborough minisite. There is a line drawing below the photo of the (still elusive) GVT tram. I personally haven´t seen anything other than that .... if others have further info, then they´re keeping stumm. Better check with the opener of the thread, SherpaPhil.

But here´s the link.

I knew they already did an electric kit for the K1, a live steam version would be nice, and for those with lines too small for an NGG16 it would be perfect.....wonder if DJB could do a coal conversion job on it....

Still waiting in France for the Show Guide to arrive .... and to think I missed that (well obviously). I might have spent the money on an Accucraft Cardiac

Nothing about R/C in the add from GRS on page 27 of the 16mm Show Guide.

I would of guessed it would come fitted with RC if you asked for it if its made by Accucraft!
