I do like them, but there are a few errors in the number 17/18, for a start the sides are not bowed like they should be! Also it seems that the 17/18 kit is taller than the 15/16 kit, they should be about the same size. But otherwise it is great that IP finally decided to do some Ffestiniog based stock :D I hope IP have more Ffestiniog stock planned, a "barn" kit would be great
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Steaming those sides to get them bowed is just asking for trouble. The bogies do look a little odd under 15/16 but we can't really expect I.P to design new bogies. I think they should be congratualated on keeping the prices so low. You're right Pete there'll be some joining the IMP coahces I bought at Stoneleigh.

New Vale of Rheidol coaches are out: http://www.ipengineering.co.uk/page122.html

And the new diesels: http://www.ipengineering.co.uk/page39.html

I won't be getting a diesel for a while due to having a Jack kit to finish, and a Locolines Chunky (with some surprises) to do. But I'd like a VoR 'Passenger Coach' or the 'Matchboard Summer Coach'.

Those Rheidol coaches do look very nice - I may just have to buy something from that range for the MVR...

I've just finished the first of there for the MDLR - see http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mdltrly/coach115.html for the pictures. I've got to go out and take a couple more when it gets dark...........

It's LNER Excursion Stock green & cream (as used on the Festibahn in earlier days - something to do with an ex-LNER man being general manager!)
