Looking round traders at Peterborough I found this beauty on Porterhouse Models stall. Arrived with me a short while later well packed for postage. It will need to be partially dismantled to paint various parts but I am looking forward to this opportunity to detail and weather this. The Porterhouse Models couplings, mentioned in an earlier topic in this section of the forum, are included with the model.

That does look very nice, Andy. What sort of radius can it cope with? There doesn't look to be much lateral tolerance on the jib support?

I have previously purchased from Porterhouse Models and can vouch for their superb quality. Yesterday, at a local garden railway meeting, I saw this model in the flesh for the first time. On my return home an order was immediately placed! Porterhouse are Forum members so can be contacted by PM. I am aware of a waiting list for this model, so don't delay!

The Ffestiniog had one (not that it was ever used), so I could just about justify one for my line, although I think I'll be after the 4 and 6 wheel coal wagons first...

Glad you happy with the model and we look forward to seeing it painted! Gradually getting through the orders we have had for them. Had alot of interest!

Its filament 3d printed using a very fine nozzle. Takes a while but works very well.

Our garden railway has 3 ft 3 radiuses on the running line 2ft 6 on some of the points in the steaming bays. We have not seen any issues traversing that.

Yes your on the list. We have finished the 5 which were ordered at the Peterborough show a couple.of weeks back this week. The others are currently progressing with 10 being built simultaneously for current orders!

Love to see how you have progressed with this model.

I appreciate it wouldn't be exactly prototypical, but if one of these ways available in 45mm gauge I would definitely add one to my fleet, very nice.

Hi David,
We do the crane with 45mm bogies as well as 32mm.
We are away until 29th June but if you drop us an email to sales@porterhousemodels.co.uk we will be able to supply one when we return to the office.
These are made to order.
