Well done SwiftSixteen - again

Post by andymctractor » Sun Apr 10, 2016 1:27 pm

I don't need a turntable on the CLR but the new one bought out by SwiftSixteen might just form a part of the loco headshunt at Crowfoot just because it looks so good and is not complicated to put into place.  Clearly they worked very hard to bring a number of worthwhile new items to the Peterborough show this year.
This leads me to mention a conversation where staff at SwiftSixteen were subjected to a mind numbing explanation from a M of P as to how they could have improved the turntable.  Perhaps traders deal with 'show stress' by using a puchbag or similar when they get home?

Oooh, I like the new bogie open, and the bogies that sit underneath them...

I don't need a turntable but I was playing my usual "how would I fit a railway into this garden game" at my in-laws this morning, and it would fit the scenario I came up with there beautifully...

Cheers,

Andrew.

Barley Pit Works has a beautifully painted turntable for sale at the moment, it was on his stand. Be worth giving him a shout.
No one expects the SPANISH ACQUISITION!!!

Hi,

Really glad you like the turntable.
The one at Barley pit is number one from the mould and Matt has done a great job painting it.

Literally moving track and laying some extra blocks for a new station, just so I can fit in one of these turntables, they look fantastic )
Garden railways don't run on steam or electric rather wine and Jedi master level patience
