Welcome back, Marcus. Good to hear from you. The new name for your railway reminds me of a line from GK Chesterton's Rolling English Road

To straighten out the crooked road an English drunkard made

I can't help thinking that the trackbed for my railway could easily have been laid by a well oiled navvy

It is planned, but on my battery loco after 6 years of out of use, it didn't run, and on my Ragleth I have to do some maintenance after six years in storage. I also encountered some problems with my PDF Models Quarry Hunslet. So today I will try to maintain my battery loco and the Ragleth.

Good to see locos and a train running. It sounds like the blackbird was enjoying it as well.

Looks great and I love the running river - as well as the train :)

Great to hear the bird enjoying it - I bow to Rikโ€™s better bird sounds knowledge than mine!
Where did I put that uncoupler?

Hello,

I wish all of you a merry christmas. Today I uploaded my last video for these year on Youtube. It contains an overview of my model railway activities during the year, and also a short preview of my planned projects for next year.

Just read your post Marcus, you have done a brilliant job with your line. Love the pond and the bridge, it has some interesting features and I look forward to more videos of your locos running around the line. :thumbright:

Some interesting developments there, Markus. Sounds like you have plenty of ideas to keep you busy in the coming year.
There can't be very many modellers in Germany with UK based railways and even fewer with a Scottish theme.

I love the scenery on your HO line. It does look very Scottish. I'd really enjoy seeing more of both your railways.

I hope you don't mind me giving some feedback on your video. You pack a lot of information into the spoken sections. Just wondering if you could break those up with relevant shots (even photos) of the parts of the railway you are talking about or even (if you have a good editing program) use your commentary as a voice over behind images of what you are describing. I think that would make it a lot easier for us to follow what you have done or are planning.

A merry Christmas and happy new year to you too.
