Sorry everyone, exam stress has caused this project to be delayed. I'll get him sent off to you Hussra first (we'll go in the order of the list) on Saturday and we'll go from there. There will be no due dates, keep him for as long as you need!

Just to let everyone know the project is delayed due to
A, Exams
and B,
I dropped victor Isle so have now got to get round to repairing him! Out with the super glue!

No worries: (a) exams are probably, on balance, more pressing than railways, and (b) time in hospital for him equals railway-building time here...

Can we send him a get well soon card to start creeping before he inspects the lines?

Will renaming an engine "Lord of the ISLES" get brownie points or is he still as forthright as he was when the DVLR closed?

I really am sorry to everyone on the list for messing up, I forgot to send him before I went to wales. I've got a nice relaxing week at home from the 14th onwards so I'll send him off then. Pestering me will help though!

The delay has, though, meant that he will have rather more railway to inspect when he reaches the EHLR.

So here's how this will work. Once you receive the inspector you must take him to inspect as many railways as possible and take photos! Then with the photos you have to post an inspection report on here. Be as creative and mean as you like!
As another idea I'd also love it if we could write him a diary for each visit so we get to see the personal side of Mr. Isle.
I shall start us off in a few hours with his departing thoughts...
