Now that is a really neat looking loco, the drawings that is! :D I can't wait to see the finished project.

Even though I have a number of R-T-R loco's, I must admit redesigning, rebuilding and tweaking my Mamods gave me the most satisfaction and fun, and to be honest I find them the simplest to fix when anything goes wrong.

Whilst waiting for the Accucraft chassis to arrive for the DJB boiler I had speculated about building a simple chassis and using some of my spare oscillating cylinders so that I could try out the boiler.

Nice Drawings Jim. You could benefit from a scanner though  . I can't see you fitting a proper manifold in the cab though ;) , it will be fun to watch you re-build.

It's fun to mamodifiy, but expensive in the long run, at the end of the day it's probaly cheaper to but a bottom of the range Accucraft loco.
