That's a good looking wagon there Rik, is it a 45mm kit bash from LGB, etc?

Anything to help a genius! Just read the blog on how you cast those sides, a very tidy job.

Is your fruit dolls house products or have you invented an apple casting machine? :D

Rik's been genetically modifying fruit trees so that they actually grow apples that small. A working 16mm scale cider press is next...

A lovely little scene, which reminds me of fruit and other produce being loaded into the guards van in Titfield Thunderbolt - and being reminded of that's never a bad thing!

Cheers,

Andrew.

1/12 scale dolls house fruit, but seems to look ok at 1/16. Not sure about a machine but I thought I might have a go making some with Fimo. The dolls house ones aren't cheap. I also need to make punnets of strawberries. That'll be fun :?

Be careful you don’t end up making Strawberry Jam and having the jam butty chaps wanting them too….

Fimo is a great material for miniature fruit and veg. Here are some which Diane has made for my Emetts.....

Blimey, they're good, Peter. I wonder if I can persuade Linda to have a go.

Rik
PS - Are the flowers Fimo, too?

Lovely work again Peter. They are better than anything growing in my allotment! (Except for the 'lemona' courgettes which are bigger than the marrows!)

I have to say I rather like your fruit vans too!

Hi Rik, the flowers are from 'The Works' some time ago when they were sold as enhancements for decorative cards etc... I think they are not current stock but might be available elsewhere?
Certainly they are listed on Chinese doll house suppliers listed on eBay.

By pure chance I was browsing the North Pilton Works website, not looking for anything in particular when I came across these crates. https://www.northpiltonworks.com/index. ... duct_id=27

At a fiver for 6 they look to be remarkably good value, if anyone is looking for them again.
Philip
