Buildings! Glad to see you've stuck with the 7/8th, I do prefer the chunkiness of the scale, probably because the eyesight is wearing out! The signal box is looking good, I keep meaning to order some dolls house corrugated sheet to make some sheds.

Hi Jim,

I do like your 'mechanical mule' in your pictures. 7/8ths is great for scratch building as it is bigger!

Why not use tin cans?

That's a tidy looking structure Jim, already it looks BIG! The material should withstand the weather conditions too.

thanks for the comments .yes its a very big model peter I will have to get a picture of my g gauge signal box and figure next to this building there is quite a difference .nearly all my old g gauge building where made from wood and some have not lasted too well at all.i will post some pictures of these as soon as iv sorted my phone so I can get the pictures off it.This is why this building is plastic and hopefully will stand up too the elements

TTC I think I'm safer with plastic. My one and only go at slicing a can ended with a sliced thumb. Admittedly I am all thumbs so could afford to temporarily lose one but it scarred me mentally so plastic it is :)

Very convincing paint effect Jim, you should be well pleased with that.
