Great detail and I'm especially loving the speckled seats Rik - great effect - although I tend to be good at getting that effect on my clothes and the Domestics Controllers furniture when I'm painting other things!
Where did I put that uncoupler?

Really great work Rik. They look fantastic. The description on your blog is really interesting.

Something else to consider once I've got my railway up and running. I take inspiration from the fact that you've been running your coaches for some time already. It just proves there are always little (or not so little!) improvements that can be made to a 'finished' railway. ;)

Excellent addition to your beautiful coaches Rik... I read your blog on construction detailing and then moved on to how you made the crests... wow!!!!! just incredible, the effort you put into creating those is mind blowing. How you can say you are impatient to get them fitted after spending so long on their creation seems odd to me but the effect certainly works.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

Thanks folks. Very encouraging.

Just taken delivery of some more seated passengers from China - these took less than a week to arrive (and with free P&P!). Just in the process of modifying them to make them a bit more 1930s and will finish off that blog post in due course. Awaiting some latching circuit modules from China so the blog post on the lighting will be delayed a bit.

I got mine on eBay from these people - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/everestmodel/M ... 34.c0.m322

They came within a week - which is great considering the postage was free. These seem to have a greater range than some of the other Chinese suppliers
