signal tower

Post by mymodeltrain » Tue Jan 31, 2017 2:36 pm

I am making this signal tower using everything available from my workshop and with the help of my daughter. I will show more as the project progresses.

The gas tank is from my daughter's toy. I fitted a brass tube and a red knob, which is also her toy. The water tank on top is the Starbuck's Mints.

The house is her chocolate can, I guess from Germany. And the stair case is her lego toy, after some modifications.

I completed the work a few days ago and the signal tower will be placed in the garden this weekend.

Thanks all for the kind and encouraging words. My daughter enjoyed to construct the signal tower with me. I taught her how to do dry paining of the jigstone house.
