more rolling stock and I found some very good scale pallets in a shop called tiger .I think the pallets are meant too be used as coasters but are the right scale for 7/8ths and where only 4 pounds for 4 .I also had a few tires from rc cars and some other bits iv made another wagon for my loco too pull

when tidying my shed on sunday I found a stack of placard id forgot about so last night I started to make a new wagon .

its painted up too look worn/used. im still undecided on how to the roof .im quite enjoying making stuff in 7/8ths scale again iv used an LGB wagon and just make a new top for it that I will screw on

its fantastic stuff having the right glue helps a great deal too .its easy to use and cut and makes a very strong model

Great work Jim, you must have quite a train of 7/8th's scale now. Have you got a funnel for that steamer yet?

yes I have got the funnel well iv made one and I have the smoke unit too I will fit this tomorrow if I get time and il try and post a video of the smoke unit working

thank you for the comments .domestic duty's took over from model making today .I will get a picture of the loco and rolling stock outside tomorrow after work and finish off the rolling stock this week .I will also fit the smoke unit and post some pictures up.im really enjoying making stuff in 7/8ths scale

another wagon made not sure what the load is going to be yet
I could cut down the logs and use these or have the barrels chained up

Unusual design Jim, but why not? I'm sure most factories and facilities with their own railway built stock to handle their particular needs, all you need to do is invent something for them to carry.
I think barrels look better than logs but it could be anything you want.

yes that's the idea wanted it too look quite industrial and a bit different like some think that's been welded up in a factory/industrial building or coal/copper mine. I have got some bits of plumbers pipe I might cut up and see what they look like.it should go with the rest of the rolling stock I want every think too look quite industrial

Well, that's done the trick then Jim... after I replied before I thought about steel coils as a possible load as the wagon looks as though it could carry something heavy, but drums are just as good.

thanks peter I tried a few different things I had in my shed as different loads and the barrels won in the end I wanted a big industrial looking cog but the one I had was too big.the barrels look good though so happy with them .got lots of plasticard left so on to the next wagon
