PLR - Running session

Post by ge_rik » Thu Jul 02, 2015 8:17 pm

As the weather has been somewhat clement of late, I decided to take the opportunity to run a few trains. Here's a fairly random selection of shots from my most recent operating session.

<object width="640" height="480"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/278dwgd7m88?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/278dwgd7m88?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="480" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

All my locos are battery, I'm afraid. I have not yet managed to fit soundcards in all my locos (maybe Santa will be kind this year), and I don't always turn them on (the neighbours were out enjoying the sun), but hopefully you can fill the intervals with your own imagined sounds - or even create your own.

Hope you enjoy ...

Very nice clips Rik. Your line looks beautifully established now. THe stream particularly looks good.

Beautiful line in established natural surroundings. I like the weathered stock which looks exactly right and comfortable in its setting.
That is my idea of a perfect garden railway.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

Gee, thanks chaps. I'd like to take credit for the setting, but it's probably more luck than judgement. I think of it as nurtured neglect.

Coooor,
That stretch along the stream is fantastic and the next shot with the dappled shade. Marvelous.

Superb. The music gave just the right feel to it as well.
