FeckHallBahn Skips

Post by Nigel B » Wed May 10, 2023 8:29 am

The Bin Day Skips

https://youtu.be/gpaisVNC_3M

It’s #wheeliebinwednesday on the FeckHallBahn. Jack Hackett on the front with motorised skip Tipping Tim on the back bring the rubbish skips up from Tiefeshorn. Tim was carrying a load of fertiliser for Albrecht’s garden so went back down the branch after delivering that to Rasenmäher Überfahrt signal box. Jack and the remaining 4 skips carried on to the TMD at Hornundtrompete where their metal contents will be recycled. Organic materials will be compressed and used as fuel.

That is some serious weathering!
Well done.

Great weathering. The bloopers look so familiar - I think we've all been there :?
I like the flute(?) accompaniment

Hi Rik
Oboe - my wife was teaching. That particular student is somewhat robust in her approach to dynamics!!

Thanks Greg
Iron powder liberally sprinkled onto tacky paint and then left outside. And lighter induced distortion - hence the hole in one of the skips. The loco was slightly more subtle; some iron powder but more paint; Vallejo streaking grime and rust

So, we're getting the brass and woodwind sections of our burgeoning orchestra sorted but we're seriously short of strings and percussion.

Decrepitude to perfection. :salute:
Blooper section is fun as well, you don't see many of those anymore.

I never thought to tow the tipping Tim behind the tippers. You did well to match the speed!
