Electro-G-scale

Post by BertieB » Tue Mar 09, 2021 9:45 pm

Stirring, traditional themes accompany this selection from the archives in celebration of rural branch lines.

Hope you enjoy it!

I really enjoyed that, thank you!

That's a fantastic collection of locos and stock you've built yourself, lots of unusual camera angles too.

I just glimpsed a green van at the head of the train in the last shot which made me think that a "B scale" 4 wheeled PMV would look great on your line...

Andrew.

PS That tune's in my head now!

Two things:
1 TOY trains they are not!
2) I'm about to dump all my narrow gauge stuff and relay the entire layout in standard gauge!!

Thank you.

The green van is Newqida (German design?) mildly chopped about and painted SR green in a lame attempt to ‘PMV’ it. But it appears too big in relation to my other stuff, so can only be photographed from the angle you see... I was about to put it on that auction site — anybody want it?

Now that Andrew, Jimmyb and Philipy have responded so graciously, I must shamefully admit that my description, above, of the video was not strictly accurate.

I’m afraid it was a hilarious ploy suggesting, say, Holst and delightful pastoral scenes but delivering the head-banging attack of Daizy and the intended-to-be-frenetic*, new trailer.

Thank you for your indulgence.

Thank you — but I couldn’t possibly claim to be working to any ‘scale’ — and one of the shots in the video is Playmobil! Anyway, I’ve long since registered the domain name.

Angr607 Bowaters Models, Gauge 1 stuff looks fantastic...

Cheers, everyone.

*I’m not sure it is, though
