Running much needed coal supplies to the LBBR railway in Ainstable yesterday.
Edit: Sadly I've managed to lose this video, and no longer have the original.

What a great video, I like steeple cabs. I'm guessing more than a couple of hours spent putting that railway together, (couple of lifetimes for me!!) Very impressive track laying too, with all six vehicles as steady as rocks, and four wheelers as well. Thanks for posting Phil.

Wonderful atmosphere there Phil.... love the railway both indoor and out. Lots to see and all well thought out and sited.

Now that is my kind of railway. Just wish mine was as good.

I love that little loco. Are those Phil Sharples coal wagons? They look excellent with those loads. Can I ask - where is the brake van from? It's perfectly suited to those little wagons.

Phil what a superb video and train. So much to admire and take in besides the train. Please can I ask where you got the lamps from as I am looking for some similar ones?

Thanks for all your responses! The railway (as the video shows), includes an indoor as well as outdoor element. I can't tell you too much about the building process, other than to say that Charlie, the line's owner, seems to alter the layout every year! It's currently a 'Lynton and Barnstaple' with a bit of 'Welshpool' thrown in!
He spends a great deal of time modelling, hence the great layout. Not included in the video is the main outdoor stretch of line, which goes down the side of his house and around the front garden
The coal trucks are Phil Sharples, but I'm afraid the guards van is a scratch build, to accompany the narrower stock that suits this loco - the chassis is a flat bed wagon made by Binnies, and the rest is all "out of me 'ead"
As for the lamps (I presume you mean the station lamps Ian) I asked the same question, but Charlie couldn't remember - a while ago purchase I'm afraid.

It looks great with the small wagons. Your 'ead is an excellent source of rolling stock!

I wasn't clear, but yes I was referring to the lamps. I didn't realise it wasn't your layout. I should have looked at the title more closely as I might have seen the clue! I may use the Roundhouse ones as they look similar.

Great loco and video Phil. I love the HGLW mod’s.

It great building things from scratch isn’t it Phil. I love doing it, your’e kind of improvising all the time and changing things to suit (or not) in my case.

Love that line Phil. A lot of work must go into the building of it. Give Charlie, 10 out of 10 from me will you.
