Very nice run Graham.
I'd have thought that all those globe lights would attract a lot of enemy fire though!

One of the D Type wagons is Swift Sixteen the other is Scratch Built. The E type is Red Star and the final one is Swift Sixteen but I don't think it is WDLR

That looks rather good. I am a great fan of the swiftsixteen TT. It's load hauling abilities are impressive, mine is quite capable of dragging a dead steamer and train.

That's looking great!

I was tempted before, didn't realise they were so powerful though, I'm even more tempted now! I'd want to try to recreate the FR's version during one of its forays on to the WHR, so would need to model it without doors I think, don't know how easy that would be...

Thanks for the video,

Andrew.

The FR version has been done and there was an illustrated method put up on a forum (or was it in the 16mm assn magazine?).
In essence he drilled a line of holes on the entrance side and cut between them to remove the doors, the rest is lots of
cleaning up the edges with a file. You would need to plan how the inside will look but it would be lots easier to fit a driver.

Found it! that's brilliant, thank you! It was in Garden Railway World, which I found online... Looks like I'd have to modify the roof supports, which sat on top of the bit I'd be removing... It's a long-term thing anyway, I don't have the time or the cash at the moment, but good to know it's possible...

Thanks again,

Andrew.
