Inaugural steam run on the CVLR

First stage of the CVLR is now complete so here's a short video of the first steam hauled run.

Thanks for the positive comments all, they're much appreciated. And yes, it is nice to have some long straight runs. However, there will be twisty bits too when negotiations with the head gardener conclude and allow me to take it across the path to the other half of the garden. πŸ˜‰

The paint colour and lining on the "Katie" look superb, especially with the red coaches.

Thank you. Katie is in victorian maroon lined out by me with Trimline gold tape and the coaches I sprayed with Halfords Ford burgundy red and lined with the same tape.

And I know the loco's name is not very original but when your youngest daughter's name is Katie what can you do? πŸ˜‰

My solitary loco is named after my Granddaughter. I now have a Grandson so the precedent is set for me!
