A recent Visit to Scorton Bank Railway

Post by FWLR » Mon Oct 02, 2017 7:34 am

Here are a couple of videos of my RH Billy having a little run out at Scorton Bank Railway, it was great day and i met some new friends i hope, also put a face to Lonsdaler and some others on the forum.

My Billy was driven by a young lad called Louie from, so sorry i can’t flipping remember, Ulverstone, memory is doing my head in..lol. Anyway he did a brilliant job and so much of an expert, running it at a speed that was just right, may i say also that the young lad has some brilliant mammon traction engines’s, loved his pickup, but unfortunately it wouldn’t light no matter how much he tried, felt so sorry for him, you may just catch a glimpse of it in the videos.

This one lost a coach has it was coming out of Arthur’s shed. lol.

And this one has it on.

Great video of Billy being handled by someone who knows how! Something I really hadn't got the patience to master myself. I'm so pleased to see him in good company, he is a very smart looking loco and very well behaved in the right hands.
Nice to see you able to mix with others who can offer all the advice to get you started.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?
