Live Diesel mechanical 1" scale

Post by dewintondave » Sat Oct 24, 2015 3:29 am

Here's my almost completed Live Diesel having a run on a short length of track.

<object width="720" height="480"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BgDBl4qOvHI?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BgDBl4qOvHI?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="720" height="480" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

My project now is to re-lay the railway with new track...

Best wishes,
Dave

Brilliant work Dave..... all the effort that went into the build left me totally out of my depth and amazed at what you have achieved. The end result was well worth it. I'm sure you are satisfied with it and you should be proud of your achievement. at least 10 out of 10.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

Thank you chaps.

The loco is very powerful in first gear - scale 5 mph. The motor runs at idle - 5000 rpm!

Best wishes,
Dave.

It seems a shame to paint it Dave!

Excellent work though :)

Loco's always run best unpainted! Here it is resplendent in red.
