Wow Tom, that's not only impressive, but incredibly brave. I wouldn't dare run mine indoors as SWMBO would make my life unbearable.

Gas locos do not create much mess, coal fired on the other hand (my Riverdale loco has run on the kitchen table but only by hand power so far!):

I have a Caradoc and Lady Anne. Both locos expel a lot of water from the cylinders when starting from cold. Too much for me to run on the dining table or anywhere else for that matter!
