Nice to talk to Mr Bond and made-in-england, who both recognised a certain very blue diesel. Quite by accident I found myself by Sir Haydn when the forum group photo was being taken (I had forgotten the time, but had been prevailed upon to allow Connor another go on No. 3's footplate). Apologies for neither remembering, nor really being able to join in the discussions.

Did anyone get a photo of said very blue diesel on Dixon Green? Sadly the Simplex suffered a radiator fault and was unable to make its appearance.

Anyhow, since it was a special occasion, what IS the correct term for a group of Sir Haydn's?

Sir Haydn with Sir Haydn with Sir Haydn with Sir Haydn with ....Sir Haydn!

Many thanks to all 17 members who turned up to the forum meet (best turnout ever I reckon). I personally think that was the best Stoneleigh I've attended, maybe a bit quieter then last year anda bit more pleasant to be in there. RIP Stoneleigh :(

Ratty quate: Lewis was completely robbed in my opinion. How come this didn't win the passenger stock trophy? :

I felt the same way, it was high competition this year and I didnt think Zach would win anything this year but I really thought Lewis would win the passenger stock trophy.

what did win?

These and a few others can also be seen on my website: http://www.freewebs.com/mvr/community.htm

I did also get some video that might eventually see the light of day, if I can ever get my head around the editing software!
It was certainly a good event, nice to go to Stoneleih one last time after my abscence last year, and to finally meet some of you in person.

If you look, the saw's UNDER my arm, not over it! More in danger were legs and gonads!

And yes, it is finished - I've just got to finish the staining and excavate a fair bit of lineside border to accommodate it.
