Boulton Mamodifications

Post by CVLR » Tue Mar 13, 2018 5:04 pm

I've fitted a few detailing parts and have done some weathering to my Mamod Boulton. Still needs steps, sandboxes, springs and glazing but it's getting there.

That's looking more business like. Nice work. I did also like the engine sound card on your video, far more typical sounding for that sized loco.
Grant.

Thanks Grant. I must admit I'm very pleased with it.

There's an 'Introduction to' article by Tag Gorton in the April issue of Garden Rail, with the prospect of a further article on his modifications & makeover. However, if you surf to his Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/Cornwallsteam/ ) you can already see his makeover, including a video of it running in the recent Devon snow.

I agree with Steamer68.

That's a nice looking loco. I might get one for myself.
