I always find nice sweeping curves pleasing to the eye.
What you now need is a regulator, I find they are quite good at picking up cables and dragging them down the line so one should be fine for those weeds if you can get one with enough weight ;-)

A mighty fine looking curved turnout - it just begs to be used. I'm sure a squirt of Weedol will tame the jungle .....

That would have been a great contender for the photo competition.... 'Working on the railway'.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

The (rail)road to Hell is ballasted with good intentions...
I sometimes wonder how I achieve anything at all, given the snail's pace I work at...
That is indeed a lovely curved point...
Andrew.

Re: Dedicated to the over committed projects/under producers
Oh dear, now I am posting in reflected glory. The first 3 points on the layout were built for me by Todd Heathrington when indeed it was planned to have a ribbon cutting “by Christmas “. Wife: “for heavens sake get that garden cleaned up and get something running “
To prove I can actually spike my own rail I attach photographic evidence. The sleepers and spacing are hand cut to published Australian cane railway standards. The Terai is beginning to reclaim the railway from the right, the plant is a kangaroo paw and the standard pruning method is to run the mower over it once a year!
Should you feel the need, Todd can make you a set of points to your dimensions .

Luckily? I am still procrastinating about where to store photos, and am not in a position to post dodgy videos..
Else I could show some serious "over enthusiastic, under achievement".
I did 'build' a complete micro-layout, in about 8 minutes..
But it had to move, before the sun got on it. - Printed track, and hot slabs, would I fear, have been a failure?
Raised a smile (your pictures) so you must be doing something right..

Re: Dedicated to the over committed projects/under producers
Thanks Phil.
Have been on the road for past 14 months ( for non Australian readers this is a right of passage for seniors), so nothing much happening at home, or for next 18 months of our projected journey.
Youngest daughter is in charge of gardening, I make no enquiries.
I am currently working on a railcar , based on County Donegall, but compressed. Certainly envious of those with kitchen tables, I am working with a 2” vice clamped to the rear bumper bar
