Amazing how people pay this kind of money with a crap description and no video.

The Taliesin Mk2 is only £2150 for R/C, and although closed at present Roundhouse are taking orders.

I still think he needs to add another tenner to his prices, people need to pay for quality, I've seen those GVT wagons painted up nicely they're worth £20 of anybodies money. I never understand the penny pinching attitude to buying rolling stock, 16mm scale but 'OO' prices.

Maybe because we don't all have bottomless pockets. Peter Binne is one of the better manufactures who understands that we can't all afford shed loads to pay for things. And you may find that most 16millers build their lines on a shoestring and can build from scratch some better models than the manufacturers.

£25 for something that is used......

What's this, I know it costs to join the 16mm Association and for me it's good value.
But selling "The Guide to 16mm Modelling" is being a bit cheeky don't you think...

Errr... why? It is the member's personal property to do with as they wish, surely.

All of my SMTs and other Association paraphernalia (except for the Bulletin whose glossy colour pages go in the recycling box ... grrr...) are sold on within days of arrival. Why? Because after reading I have no use for them, no space to store them and their content is now available online.

Because it's free when you renew this year. I for some reason have 3 copies of it now. So if any member what's a copy. Just pay me postage and you can have one. The person on eBay wants you to pay has well P&P.......

I can't remember who it is, but someone sells the Binnie wagon kits with replacement metal wheels for less than £25!

Still wouldn’t buy them for less than £25. The original wheels are perfectly acceptable for me. If you need to put extra weight and run them empty, a small lead weight will suffice. Most people run them loaded anyway...

I've found that a lot of people prefer to pay more if it's on Ebay and somehow have a reticence to go direct to the websites that sell it.
Nuts I know and doubly irritating as I find myself packing and sending off products that could have been just bought direct from my website so I now add the ebay commision charge on top.

Interestingly, I get a link to Peter Binnie's listing for the same (new) item beneath that listing. I'd hope anyone with any sense would follow it. .
