This post was posted before the forum upgrade so this is likely why you missed out as you would not of got any notification of new posts when logged in and email notification was hit and miss back then.

Grant.

Yes I bought some already made up on Ebay.

Thank you Grayln I'm torn between the Timpdon kits and some IP Engineering ones. I'm looking for some that closely match some I already have and my Lady Anne.

Great videos Graham. Really love your line and no music…..

The final overall shot of the line is brilliant too. :thumbright: :thumbright: A lot of people leave out these shots, don’t know why…I personally love to see how people have laid out their line.

I agree. I am at the planning stage and the overall shots are most useful.

My Decauville will run very well on manual only, with fine control over speed. The problem with them is the lack of room to install RC, hence Gralyn's tender.

With practice I could get the loco to run quite slowly. It required different adjustments for each different train.
Yesterdays run was also trying out the log trucks so I did not spend the time adjusting the loco speed as I should, the logs kept sliding off
as the rear wagon loaded with gravel pushed them together.

I had some friends from the local Model Railway Club round for a running session yesterday. I managed
to persuade one of them to drive the live steam R/C Locos so that I could take some video. Here is
the result.
