Changing R/C

I have just changed the R/C on my Edrig. It had a 40mhz transmitter and receiver which I changed to 2.4 ghz. I only had to change the receiver as the servos an batteries just plugged into the new receiver.
I am pleasantly surprised in the change to driving the loco, previously it always seemed to be difficult to control the speed of the loco, now all has changed, smooth acceleration and deceleration and I can hear the Summerlands Chuffer working too.
It is almost like having a new loco.
Anyone want a 40 mhz transmitter and receiver?.
