Correcting gauge

Post by Chris Cleaver » Thu Apr 03, 2014 8:12 pm

Hello

I have a LGB toy train for the grand children. It runs well on the plastic track it came with but struggles on the Piko track. I have measured the track and engine wheels. The toy train wheel gauge is 35 thou wider than the Piko loco which would explain the problems. Are the plastic loco wheels a push fit on the steel axle so I can press them a little closer.

What do you think?
