Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

Same here, before I part with cash elsewhere. I always like the suprise of what Roundhouse bring out at the AGM but i do like the way Accucraft give you a good warning so you can start saving. One thing that does anoy me is the whole
"I know a secret but im not telling you" post's that then start, it happens on the big railway too but if im asked anything I will either say what I can or say nothing. Dont get me wrong Matt and Keith's post have given us food for thought and any info is always helpful but if people just want to say they know something but not give pointers......

Of course, it's very much easier to say "I know what the next Roundhouse model will be", when you can conveniently avoid having to actually prove your knowledge because you can claim to have been sworn to secrecy...! ;)

I'm a mere mortal who doesn't move in the higher circles of the garden railway fraternity. I don't know what the next Roundhouse model will be, and I'm quite happy to wait until Stoneleigh to find out. Being an impoverished student, spening large sums on a new steamer is out of the question for me at the moment so I don't need to worry about saving money! I'll just have to hope that I can buy all those models I want second-hand in the years to come...

They could always write down what it will be, seal it in an envelope addressed to themselves, and pop it in the post? And then open with a flourish at Stoneleigh, proving they knew all along, with the postmark on the hitherto unopened envelope indicating the date of their prediction?

Perhaps that's just a bit silly.
