PLR Loco Roster
PLR Loco Roster
I realised that I hadn't updated the loco roster on my blog since 2015 and quite a few locos have appeared since then. I know you are all familiar with my various kitbuilds, bashes and scratchbuilds but this is just in case you fancied viewing them all in one place.

Re: PLR Loco Roster
I like the way you have laid everything out in a table format, with links videos etc.

Thanks Greg
Yes, I decided that instead of writing long-hand accounts as I did last time, I needed a more compact way of giving the details. Almost a loco spotters' guide.

Re: PLR Loco Roster
I think that's the best loco roster page (model and 1:1 scale) I've ever seen.

Corr blimey, thanks Aaron.Old Man Aaron wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:18 am I think that's the best loco roster page (model and 1:1 scale) I've ever seen.
My previous roster was written in long-hand and is a bit of a wade to get through so I wanted to keep it short and snappy this time (given the number of locos has doubled).

Re: PLR Loco Roster
That's why I really like it. I don't think I've ever seen it done quite that say. It's to-the-point, like a main street.
But with all the links to the builds and rebuilds of each loco, it's like there's side-streets branching off the main. One can easily go anywhere, see anything they want.
All the information is laid out and easy to find, but not, as you mentioned, all in one place to wade through. Takes a lot of work to lay all that out, and retrieve the relevant URLs for each link. Suppose I'm saying, I for one appreciate all the extra effort.

Re: PLR Loco Roster
Very interesting Rik... but a bit of pedantry...
Loco No 4 is described as 2-6-0T.
But the pic shows trailing wheels under the cab.
As it uses a U class chassis, should it be 0-6-2T?
Shows I read the text!

Oops! Thanks for spotting that. Glad to see at least one eagle eyed member is on the ball!
Of course I could say I made the mistake deliberately to see if anyone was paying attention
